Summary

Our firm is growing! Exervio Management Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant with three to six years of work experience. Candidates that have prior employment experience with management consulting firms are preferred.

Successful candidates will exhibit a professional attitude, creativity, the ability to analyze and solve complex business problems, and skills to manage and execute process improvement and technology projects that improve business performance. They may participate in all phases of the management consulting process, from problem-identification through systems development and implementation.

Candidate will work in Charlotte, North Carolina and should expect approximately 25% travel.

Skills

Qualified candidates will have engaged in some or all of the following:

Strategic Planning

1. Developing recommendations for improving how companies generate revenue, improve operational quality and control costs;
2. Organizing and prioritizing in a logical manner the issues that affect these plans;
3. Gathering the information necessary to validate the plan by identifying potential opportunities, risks and issues and quantifying and/or explaining the implications of each;
4. Thoroughly explaining the implications of the analysis and recommendations for a client’s business.

1. Linking strategic recommendations to process steps that enable plan execution;
2. Planning, leading, or executing process-improvement projects;
3. Using (or being familiar with) methods for redesigning business process performance, e.g. Six Sigma methods and tools;
4. Tying operational process changes to financial return, including return on consulting investment;
5. Collecting, defining and documenting business requirements for the given solution.

1. Drafting detailed business and technical requirements;
2. Designing technical solutions;
3. Familiarity with database and object-oriented design techniques;
4. Conducting Unit and systems integration testing efforts.
